Participating in this workshop was a truly valuable experience. It allowed me to explore neuroscience—my academic passion—in greater depth. In the process of preparing, I reviewed a wide range of literature and academic resources. Through continuous reading and learning, I developed a more thorough and nuanced understanding of the field. Most importantly, the workshop gave me a rare and fulfilling opportunity to share this subject I love with my classmates.

Our group focused on the intersection of neuroscience and economics. This interdisciplinary approach opened my eyes to the fascinating possibilities that emerge when two seemingly unrelated fields connect. Through multiple rounds of group practice, our teamwork became increasingly seamless. We built stronger trust and communication, which helped our ideas come to life more clearly and confidently.

Of course, there were challenges along the way. Time management and task delegation were difficult at first, and we occasionally felt overwhelmed. But by staying committed and working together, we overcame these obstacles—and in doing so, we strengthened our problem-solving and stress-management skills.

One highlight of our workshop was the way we incorporated materials from TPO (Test of Proficiency in English). By weaving in questions and ideas from TOEFL-style readings, we not only helped our audience better understand the exam’s design and expectations, but also expanded everyone’s academic vocabulary and background knowledge. I believe this experience will help all of us feel more prepared and confident in future tests involving similar topics.
